Quantum AM-Q-V1

The tethered drone system that stays on station.

A battery gives you 30 minutes and a landing. The Quantum gives you the whole mission. Connect your enterprise drone to ground power, launch once, and hold position for hours at up to 130 feet.

How It Works

Four steps, then it just stays up

Step 1

Set the station

Place the ground station and connect standard 120V power, from a wall outlet or a small generator.

Step 2

Clip the module

The 120 g air module mounts to your drone and connects to the tether in minutes. No airframe modification.

Step 3

Launch once

Continuous power flows up the tether. Fly to station, up to 130 ft, and hold.

Step 4

Stay covered

Hours of uninterrupted flight. If ground power is ever interrupted, the onboard battery lands the aircraft under control.

Compatibility

Built for the drones you already fly

The Quantum serves the enterprise aircraft programs already own, including the DJI Mavic 3 and Mavic 4 series and the Autel EVO series.

Flying a different airframe? We build tether integrations for new platforms on request, and higher-power systems for larger aircraft are in development.

FAQ

Tethered drone system questions

How long can a tethered drone stay in the air?
As long as ground power holds. The Quantum feeds continuous 500W power, so flight time is measured in hours, not battery minutes. In athletics service our systems average 4.3 hours per flight at 107 feet.
How much does a tethered drone system cost?
The Quantum is $6,500 for schools and $8,000 for commercial buyers. Imported systems with similar capability typically run $25,000 to $60,000.
What drones does the Quantum work with?
Enterprise aircraft including the DJI Mavic 3 and Mavic 4 series and the Autel EVO series. Contact us about other airframes.
What happens if the tether power is cut?
The drone's onboard battery takes over automatically and the aircraft makes a controlled landing. Ground power loss never means an uncontrolled descent.
Is a tethered drone legal to fly?
Yes. Tethered operations fly under the same FAA Part 107 rules as other commercial drone work, and the tether keeps the aircraft in a fixed, controlled volume of airspace. Our customers include school districts and public safety agencies.
Where is the Quantum made?
Monroe, Louisiana, USA. Design, manufacturing, and support are all in-house at AeroMast Innovations.
